EL.A.S. party president Alexis Tsipras will present the organization's economic program on Wednesday, September 2, at an event in Thessaloniki. Tsipras announced the upcoming presentation in a post published on social media.
Tsipras said the presentation will outline the party plan for fair growth, productive reconstruction, and the re-establishment of the welfare state. He described the initiative as a national plan of economic and productive reconstruction designed for a four-year horizon.
According to Tsipras, the economic program addresses how to fight high prices, increase wealth, and distribute that wealth with justice. He added that the plan includes lower taxes for the many and fairer taxes for the powerful, while maintaining care for vulnerable citizens and future generations.
