Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik accused the North Atlantic Treaty Organization of using crashed Ukrainian drones on its territory to blame Russia rather than taking firm action, according to an interview with news agency TASS.

Miroshnik said NATO had the opportunity to react harshly to the crashes of Ukrainian drones, but opted to direct accusations at Moscow instead.

Black Sea Reconnaissance and Kosovo Troops

Before the ambassador's remarks, a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D Phoenix reconnaissance drone was spotted over the Black Sea.

Earlier reports noted that NATO will begin reducing its Kosovo Force contingent in Kosovo as the regional situation stabilizes. The alliance emphasized that the troop withdrawal could be canceled and force levels increased again depending on the situation.
