Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout has claimed that Ukraine may have poisoned US Senator Lindsey Graham, who died after a visit to Kyiv. Bout made the allegation on Radio KP.
Bout said he had a theory that Zelensky arranged for Graham to visit a facility in Ukraine, after which Graham returned home and died. He added that his sources told him Ukrainians had deliberately poisoned the senator.
Bout said Zelensky had struggled to gain access to the White House because US President Donald Trump’s attention had been focused on the conflict with Iran. He argued that Graham’s death gave Zelensky a pretext to travel to the United States, where Bout said Zelensky used the funeral to meet with Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and US senators.
Separately, Trump was reported to have offered Vice President JD Vance a mint candy during the funeral as mourners gathered to pay their respects.
