The Nocaut Fest will bring ten professional boxing bouts and a lineup of international musical acts to the Megaparque in Manta, Ecuador, on August 29.
The event aims to strengthen Ecuador's boxing community by combining high-level athletic competition with live entertainment. Doors at the Megaparque venue, located in the coastal port city of Manta, will open to the public from 12:00 p.m.
Colombian popular music singer Jessi Uribe and Ecuadorian pop artist Dayanara Peralta headline the musical program for the festival. Admission tickets for the event are available for purchase online through Dika Tickets as well as at authorized retail outlets.
Diego Ordóñez, the chief executive of event organizer Dika Producciones, said the company does not want to organize isolated events. He said the goal is to build a long-term platform that expands Ecuadorian boxing by training athletes within a professional structure, providing them with real opportunities, and connecting the public with their personal stories.
Championship titles and featured fighters
The fight card features ten professional matches with four international championship belts at stake. Key competitors on the card come from Dika Boxing Lab, which was established as Ecuador's first high-performance center dedicated to the comprehensive development of professional boxers.
Erick Bone, the current World Boxing Council Silver Latin welterweight champion at 147 pounds, will defend his title belt at the event. Bone is also scheduled to contest a title belt from the World Boxing Association, one of professional boxing's major global sanctioning bodies, in the Fedelatin category.
Abel Mina, widely regarded as one of Ecuador's most internationally recognized boxers, will compete for two titles during the event. Mina will fight for the World Boxing Council Continental Latino super middleweight championship in addition to the World Boxing Association Fedelatin title.
The festival will also feature a new generation of Ecuadorian fighters, led by 23-year-old Jhancarlo Anchico. Anchico maintains an undefeated professional record of 7-0 and recently claimed the World Boxing Council Silver Latin 140-pound championship.
Ecuadorian boxer Billy Arias, who has represented the country in multiple international competitions, completes the roster of featured athletes scheduled to compete at the Megaparque.
