Moscow has seen a 32 percent increase in court lawsuits seeking to seize corrupt money and property compared to the same period in 2025, the Moscow prosecutor's office told Lenta.ru.
The total value of financial claims in the lawsuits grew by 65 percent over the same period. The seized money and property will be turned into state revenue.
Prosecutor checks during this period led to the opening of 12 criminal cases as part of anti-corruption efforts.
Separately, former Rostelecom top manager Vladimir Shadrin did not admit guilt in a case involving bribe-taking and fraud on an especially large scale within an organized criminal group, according to previous reports.
