Marcelo Tinelli, the Argentine television producer and host, and his family have confirmed that the second season of the reality series 'Los Tinelli' will premiere on September 30 on Prime Video. The announcement follows Tinelli's recent public confirmation that he and Peruvian actress Milett Figueroa have reconciled.
The new season will again stream on Prime Video but will follow a different format from the first installment, and its makers promise several unexpected developments.
Prime Video released the official trailer for the second season on Monday, September 14. The production is led by Tinelli and features a strong presence from members of his family circle, including his cousin Luciano Giugno, known as 'El Tirri', and Giugno's partner Mimi Alvarado, as well as Milett Figueroa and Tinelli's daughters Micaela and Candelaria Tinelli.
Family tensions and separations
The new season is set during a period of transformation, tension and crisis for the family, according to the trailer. The Tinellis will face one of their most complicated periods, with situations that test their relationships and the unity of the clan.
Among the personal changes featured in the storyline is the separation of Candelaria "Cande" Tinelli and musician Coti Sorokin, while Micaela Tinelli is shown going through a period of being single.
The trip to Peru
One of the most significant events of the new season is the family's trip to Peru. According to the footage released as a preview, Tinelli and his family travel there to meet Milett Figueroa's relatives. Figueroa has separately taken legal action against Mimi Alvarado.
That meeting becomes one of the season's central settings, running through a plot marked by conflict, revelations and tense moments.
Milett Figueroa's mother and an accusation of witchcraft
The trailer shows Martha Valcárcel, Milett Figueroa's mother, spending time with Marcelo Tinelli and his daughters. One of the most tense moments in the preview comes when Tinelli reveals he gave Valcárcel a ring that belonged to his grandfather.
In the clip, Valcárcel is heard telling Tinelli to note that she is not a "macumbera", a term used in the region for someone who practices Afro-Brazilian magic. Mimi Alvarado had accused Valcárcel of practicing black magic.
What else the new season will show
The new episodes arrive amid major changes for the family. One is the sale of their property in Punta del Este, a home with strong sentimental value for the clan, put on the market as Tinelli, the creator of the long-running show 'Showmatch', faces financial difficulties.
The production will also address another development that drew significant attention: the absence of Juana Tinelli, Marcelo's daughter, from this second season. Her distance from the family raises questions and exposes further internal tensions.
The season also touches on a complaint over threats received by Tinelli's youngest daughter, an episode that increased pressure on the family and had a significant media impact. Amid all of this, Tinelli has acknowledged feeling that he has lost part of his control over events and over the family story that is shown publicly.
