Kelly Osbourne said there is no hope of reconciling with her sister, Aimee Osbourne, adding that she has felt resentment toward her for years.
The 41-year-old daughter of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne made the comments during an interview on the podcast "We Need to Talk," which aired on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The subject of the sisters' relationship came up when Kelly discussed Aimee's decision not to take part in the family reality show "The Osbournes."
Kelly said she could not tell the whole truth about why Aimee chose not to appear on the program, explaining that she did not want to speak on her sister's behalf. She said the two are not close, but that she respects Aimee enough not to say anything about her personally. She added that she believes everything happens for a reason, and that taking part in the show simply was not meant for Aimee.
Kelly went on to say that Aimee essentially never acknowledged her or their brother, Jack Osbourne. She said Aimee was in her own world doing her own things, and admitted that to some extent she felt her sister was embarrassed by them.
She said she will never truly understand it, but that this was simply how it felt to her. Kelly described herself and Aimee as very different people, saying that whatever she is, her sister is not, and whatever her sister is, she is not. She said the two could not be more different.

Kelly called it one of the hardest things in her life that she never had an older sister to guide her, saying she had to teach herself things that a big sister should have shown her. She said she carries resentment about that, and that she always will.
'No' hope of reconciliation
Asked whether there is any hope of the sisters reconciling, Kelly said there is none. She said she simply respects Aimee and accepts her, even though they are different, and that this is fine with her. She said that within families there is an assumption that sharing the same blood means you must share everything, but that she believes the beauty of life lies in being able to choose your own family.
Kelly Osbourne concluded by saying that if Aimee is not going to accept her for who she is and keeps trying to change her, says awful things about her, and genuinely seems pleased when things are not going well for her, then she does not want her sister in her life.
Ozzy Osbourne, who died earlier this year, was the frontman of Black Sabbath and one of the most influential figures in heavy metal. The Osbourne family became widely known through "The Osbournes," the reality series that followed Ozzy, his wife Sharon, and their children Kelly and Jack in the early 2000s. Aimee, the eldest sibling, opted out of the show at the time.
