Greek singer Despina Vandi has spoken about her relationship with actor Vasilis Bisbikis, stating that their life together is defined by deep love and essential communication.
In an interview given to newspaper Espresso and journalist Spyridoula Triantou, Vandi explained how her life has changed since falling in love with the actor and shared the qualities she admires in her partner.
The singer noted that the most beautiful aspect of their relationship, which remains unseen by the public, is that the couple sleep in each other's arms every night.

Describing Bisbikis's character, Vandi said he is a generous person who genuinely loves others, respects his friends, and provides a dependable presence. She noted that his word is direct, he holds strong personal values, and he is an excellent father.
She added that she loves his impulsiveness and spontaneity, which make their daily life very interesting. Vandi characterized her partner as a person without hidden motives who acts with complete truth, while also expressing admiration for his talent as both an actor and a director.

During the interview, Vandi also reflected on her relationship with her two children, Melina and Giorgos, born during her marriage to former footballer Demis Nikolaidis. She said that devoting all her free time to them until they grew up was the best thing she has ever done.
Acknowledging that raising children while maintaining a career was not easy, Vandi said she stayed by their side at every moment. She added that she had minimal help, using assistance only to sleep in the mornings, and expressed pride in seeing her children become composed individuals with strong values.
