Blogger Valeria Chekalina, also known as Lerchek, has been forced to adjust her stage four stomach cancer treatment plan because of court proceedings, REN TV reported.
A source close to Chekalina said she missed targeted therapy due to court. Doctors are urgently adjusting her treatment plan because its schedule cannot be violated, according to the source.

Prosecution appeal and conviction
The prosecutor's office intends to seek a harsher punishment for Chekalina, disagreeing with the suspended sentence, fine, and ban on website administration handed to the blogger. An appeal against the sentence has been submitted to the appellate court of Moscow.
Chekalina was tried in a case involving the transfer of more than 250 million rubles to the United Arab Emirates using counterfeit documents. On July 31, a court sentenced her to five years suspended, imposed a 765 million ruble fine, and banned her from promoting her brand on the internet for three years.
