Timex Launches Two New Snoopy Watches in Europe

Timex has released two new Snoopy watches in Europe: a green 249-euro chronograph and a 179-euro Indiglo-lit Weekender Astronomy model.

Timex Launches Two New Snoopy Watches in Europe

Timex has expanded its partnership with the Peanuts comic strip franchise by launching two new watches featuring Snoopy, the American watchmaker's latest step in a collaboration that has become popular with collectors looking for playful designs at accessible prices.

The two models target very different buyers. One leans into the sober, sporty look of a classic chronograph, while the other embraces a more theatrical design built around illuminated constellations.

Peanuts x Q Timex Chronograph

The centerpiece of the release is the Peanuts x Q Timex Chronograph, a quartz chronograph housed in a 40 millimeter stainless steel case. It is finished with an aluminum tachymeter bezel in a green tone that matches the dial.

The Snoopy detail on this model is deliberately understated. The character appears tucked into the minute subdial at the nine o'clock position, leaving the applied hour markers and the date window as the main visual focus.

The back of the case carries a more prominent tribute, engraved with the full cast of characters from the classic comic strip.

Specifications and pricing

On the technical side, the chronograph sticks to specifications typical of its price range. It uses a retro-style acrylic crystal, offers water resistance up to fifty meters, and is fitted with a 20 millimeter brown leather strap equipped with quick-release spring bars.

The green chronograph is already available for immediate purchase in Europe, including Spain, at an official price of 249 euros.

Peanuts x Timex Weekender Astronomy

For buyers who want a design built entirely around the character, Timex has also released the Peanuts x Timex Weekender Astronomy. This model swaps the steel case for polished brass, keeping the same 40 millimeter diameter but slimming the case down to a thin 9.5 millimeters.

Its blue dial depicts Snoopy drawn as part of a star constellation. The design comes to life in the dark, using Timex's well known Indiglo backlight technology to illuminate the entire celestial pattern at the press of the crown.

Indiglo has been one of Timex's signature technologies since the early 1990s, giving its watches an electroluminescent glow that lights up the full dial rather than a single hand or marker.

Where to buy

The astronomy-themed model carries a more accessible price tag of 179 euros. For now, however, Timex is only taking advance pre-orders for this watch through its European website, rather than offering it for immediate purchase.

Both watches are part of the wider Timex and Peanuts collaboration, which continues to add new Snoopy-themed pieces to the brand's catalog for fans of the comic strip who want collectible designs without a high price tag.
