Russian blogger Anastasia Fedko successfully chased away a grizzly bear after encountering the wild predator during a mountain hike in the United States.
The content creator was walking alongside her boyfriend when the pair lagged behind the rest of their trekking party. They unexpectedly encountered the bear, prompting a tense standoff before they managed to reunite with their companions.

According to the Russian Telegram news channel Baza, the hungry predator did not immediately retreat after the couple rejoined the group. Instead, the grizzly continued following the hikers for approximately 30 minutes before finally wandering off into the wilderness.
Bear encounters among internet personalities
Fedko is a widely known Russian social media influencer who shares travel and lifestyle content online. Grizzly bears are large brown bears native to North America, known for roaming mountainous regions across the United States. Wildlife safety guidelines recommend remaining calm, standing together in groups, and avoiding sudden running when confronting wild bears.
The incident comes after other prominent internet personalities reported dangerous bear sightings while broadcasting online. Streamers FaZe Adapt, whose real name is Alex Prynkiewicz, and Maya Higa were recently interrupted by a hungry bear during a live broadcast in Katmai National Park and Preserve in Alaska. Both content creators admitted that the unexpected encounter left them deeply frightened.
Previous incidents in the wild
Katmai National Park, located in southern Alaska, is world famous for its large population of brown bears and popular wildlife streams. Adapt is a well known American content creator connected with the FaZe Clan organization, while Higa is a prominent wildlife conservationist and online broadcaster.
Prominent Russian doctor and television presenter Alexander Myasnikov also previously spoke out about scary encounters with wild bears. Myasnikov, who regularly hosts medical programs on Russian television, revealed that he has repeatedly met bears while traveling through the Russian taiga and once had to climb up a tree to hide from a predator.
