Zona Azul parking in the city of SP has a readjustment of 5.75%

Parking in a Zona Azul space in the city of São Paulo will become more expensive from this Friday (20). The price of the basic fare, valid for one hour, goes from R$5.75 to R$6.08 — an increase of 5.75%.

The announcement of the elevation was published by the Municipal Mobility and Traffic Department of São Paulo in the Official Gazette of the City this Thursday.

According to the concessionaire that manages the service, Estapar, the tariff correction is provided for in the contract and considers inflation from January to December 2022.

The rotary parking concession model in São Paulo started operating in 2020, with an expected duration of 15 years. Currently, there are 54,063 Blue Zone vacancies in the city of São Paulo.

The last time there was a readjustment in the Zona Azul SP tariff was in January 2022. At the time, the value was R$ 5 and increased to R$ 5.75.

The company informs that the Digital Blue Card (CAD) already purchased can be activated normally for the previous amount. The readjustment will only be valid for activation after this Friday.

Cards can be purchased through the Estapar Nova Zona Azul app, on the website or at 900 commercial establishments.

On its website, Estapar highlights that street vendors and vendors are not authorized to sell digital cards in the city.

“Accredited points of sale have fixed addresses, official identification plates and use Getnet card machines. In addition, you can buy through the Estapar Zona Azul SP app from wherever you are and pay via debit and credit”, says the company.

The official sales establishments can be consulted on the service concessionaire’s website, as well as the authenticity of the Blue Digital Card (CAD), through the authentication number.

Transaction details can also be accessed and checked on the official portal of the service provider in the city of São Paulo.
