The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky said today that he discussed cooperation on security and energy issues with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan and assured him that Ukraine will remain a guarantor of global food security.
“On the phone with President Erdogan we praised the extension of the grain agreement,” he tweeted after extending a deal aimed at reducing global food shortages by helping Ukraine export agricultural products from Black Sea ports blocked by Russia.
