21-year-old student Nicole Leslie went viral on Tiktok after posting a video saying she had to drive the Uber driver’s car after he was caught taking a breathalyzer test at a roadblock.
The young woman was in Americana, in the interior of São Paulo, to participate in the University Games of Communication and Arts (Juca) and had to request a car via Uber, to get to the last party of the holiday that took place in Nova Odessa, a neighboring city.
In her profile on the social network, Nicole says that she and her friends did not realize that the driver was drunk and that they only suspected something when he took the wrong path and wanted to take an alternative route, which did not go through the toll booth.

Concerned about safety, the girls asked him to follow the path indicated on the GPS and thus enter the highway. The driver complied with the young women’s request and followed the path, but came across a roadblock when making the return.
Nicole says that when he was stopped by the policeman, who asked him to take a breathalyzer, the driver asked: “But is it necessary? I am working.”
After a few puffs, the test came back positive. When recounting the episode on her profile, Nicole claims that the driver did not show signs of drunkenness. and that at no time did she and her friends suspect that he was drunk.
After testing positive, the driver had two options, there was another device left and, if that was positive, he would be arrested and the car impounded, or he would be fined and let one of the passengers drive the car to the final destination of the trip.

Nicole, the only one among her friends who was able and sober, was chosen to drive the car to its destination. So, she handed over her documentation to the officers and took the breathalyzer test to prove her sobriety and continued driving to the party venue.
After the confusion, the young women were received by their friends with applause and euphoria, who followed the story while waiting for the three at the party.
The video telling the story went viral with around 200,000 views and over 25,000 likes.
