The Yandex team announced the launch of a new payment method – Account. From the “Account” of Yandex, it will be possible to pay for the company’s services and receive additional cashback for this.
An “account” can be opened in the Yandex Go application, and replenished with a bank card, and soon through a fast payment system. For now, you can pay from the “Account” for taxi rides, but later it will appear in Yandex.Afisha, Yandex.Services, Yandex.Market, Yandex.Food, Yandex.Lavka, Yandex.Gas stations, Yandex.Drive and other services.
Account holders receive cashback in points. It is charged from Yandex funds and is 5% until July 12. Cashback for payment from the “Account” is added to the cashback that the Yandex.Plus subscription gives. For example, when traveling at the “Comfort” tariff, 15% will be returned, and at the “Economy” or “Delivery” tariffs – 5%.
“Account” is already available to a part of Yandex.Plus subscribers. Now you can keep up to 15,000 rubles on it and spend up to 40,000 rubles a month. In the future, all Yandex users will be able to open the Account.
