According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), during a series of closed discussions about the proposed country of future extradition of Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon, Montenegro Justice Minister Andrej Milovic said that he plans to extradite him to the US authorities.
Let us remind you that two countries are demanding the extradition of the former head of Terraform Labs on charges of financial crimes: the USA and South Korea. Earlier in the court debate, Kwon admitted that extradition to South Korea would be his best option.
Following the conviction, the High Court of Montenegro left Milovic with the final decision on which country would take precedence.
If extradited to the United States, Kwon would face eight charges, including commodity fraud, securities fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit fraud and engage in market manipulation.
The day before, the Founder of Terraform Labs filed a petition with the High Court of Montenegro with a request to review the order on extradition from the country.
