Officially back in music! The American singer Katy Perry released, on the night of this Thursday (11), the first song of his new studio album . Entitled “Woman’s World” the track talks about female empowerment and arrives accompanied by a music video.
“Woman´s World” will be part of the album “143” which will be released in September 20 this year, the same day that the pop star performs in Brazil, for the festival Rock in Rio .
Katy Perry released her latest album, “Smile,” in 2020. Despite this, the star has been involved in some collaborations in 2022 and released the song “Electric” in May 2021.

There are still no further details about the rhythm that Katy will explore in “143”. Apparently, she will work with producer Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, known as Dr. Luke and accused of abuse by fellow American singer Kesha.
In an interview with Access Hollywood in April of this year, Katy revealed that her new album will explore unexplored areas, as it comes from an “unprecedented place of love and happiness”.
“I haven’t made an album where I feel truly happy, complete and full of love,” Katy said. “The new album is very bright and joyful, pure joy and fun. Playful and celebratory, a party,” she said.
The singer will also perform in Rio de Janeiro on September 20, when she will headline the so-called Dia Delas, at Rock in Rio 2024. Karol G, Cyndi Lauper, Ivete Sangalo, Iza, Gloria Gaynor and Tyla will perform on the date.
