Woman injured after elevator fall in Juiz de Fora

An elevator, used by people with special needs, fell from a height of three meters late on Friday afternoon (04) at the Sport Clube facilities in Juiz de Fora, in the forest area of ​​Minas Gerais.

According to the Minas Gerais Fire Department (CBMMG), a woman and a girl in a wheelchair were in the equipment at the time of the fall. The military reported that they were immediately rescued.

According to SAMU, the girl was uninjured and was released. The woman had a suspected femur fracture in one of her legs.

They were immediately rescued by the Fire Department and passed on to SAMU for the necessary assistance. The girl had no injuries and was discharged by Samu at the scene, as the woman had a suspected femur fracture on one of her legs and a deep cut on the other.

Forensics were called in to discover the causes of the accident.
