Young Victoria da Conceição Pereira, 23 years old, died after taking a milk shake poisoned in Rio de Janeiro. The case took place in the city of Maricá, in the Lakes Region.
The main suspect is the victim’s ex-boyfriend, David Nascimento Santana. According to witnesses, he has a history of violence.
The police are also investigating the involvement of other people in the crime and whether it was, in fact, a trap for the young woman. Investigations indicate that her ex-boyfriend was the one who bought the milkshake and that the woman was also raped by him.
Victoria was taken to the city hospital, but suffered three cardiac arrests, did not survive and died.
Her body was buried on Monday (5). The suspect is considered a fugitive after having an arrest warrant issued by the courts.
On Tuesday (6), the Civil Police were searching for him. The case is being investigated by the 82nd DP (Maricá).
