A 7-year-old boy was attacked by his neighbor’s dog Texas as a result of which he had to be hospitalized and undergo surgery.
An eyewitness described in foreign media how dog he grabbed the child and started rocking him left and right before trying to free the 7-year-old. “I started hitting the dog and it started dragging Conner before I could release him,” said Lorena Parker.
According to the mother of the 7-year-old, her child described the attack, saying that the dog passed him for a toy from what the dogs bite.
According to her, the 7-year-old underwent surgery lasting 3 hours to treat the nerve damage on his face. “Doctors estimate that more surgeries will be needed to deal with the damage done to his face,” added the child’s mother.
The boy has returned to school while the dog was euthanized.

The 49-year-old owner of the dog has been remanded in custody.
