In one more chapter of the series “I didn’t know I was pregnant”, Kayla Simpson, a 21-year-old university student, shared on her TikTok account (@kaylanicolesimpson) a video where she tells her peculiar story, since she went to the hospital in an emergency to treat what she thought was appendicitis and came out with a baby in her arms. Cuteness.
One day in her university life, Kayla went to a party and after 12 months, just when she was working, she felt a slight pain in her belly. She at first thought it was colic, but after half an hour, her discomfort became almost unbearable, so she had no choice but to go to the hospital to have the doctors diagnose it.
The girl was convinced that she had appendicitis, as the abdominal pain was very intense. However, the doctor who treated her was not very convinced of this, since she did not show symptoms of this disease, so she did an ultrasound to find out her health status and rule out that she had endometriosis.
Spooky! She went to the doctor because she thought she had appendicitis, but ultrasounds revealed that she was pregnant. pic.twitter.com/3bK9JJNgak

Basically, on November 7, around 12:30, I had very mild menstrual cramps. Then they got really bad like 30 minutes later. It hurt so much that I could barely speak or move, but when I got to the doctor, he didn’t see any signs of appendicitis, so he thought he might have a cyst and suggested I get an ultrasound.
Next thing I know I’m screaming in pain and you see little feet on the ultrasound and I start screaming really loud. Then the doctor comes in and sees that I am 10 centimeters dilated. They rushed me to start labor. After 15 minutes, a frat baby entered this world.
The most important thing is that the little baby, whom she called Madi, was in very good health, as it was one of the things that worried Kayla the most since she did not receive any medical attention during her pregnancy. The girl experienced what is known as a cryptic pregnancy, which is when a woman does not present the typical symptoms of pregnancy, which makes it almost impossible to find out about her condition.
Fortunately, both she and the baby, who is now one year old, are in good health and this is a great story for Kayla to possibly tell Madi when she grows up.
