Wholesale inflation rises less than expected in November

Wholesale inflation in November showed figures below expectations. The Production Price Index in November it rose 0.1%, less than 0.2% of the market consensus and lower than the rise of 0.3% the previous month. The annual rate was 0.8%.

Regarding the index without taking into account food and energy, it increased 0.1%, below the 0.2% expected by analysts. The increase compared to twelve months ago was 1.4%, lower than the 1.5% expected and higher than the 1.1% in October.

Consumer confidence figures will be released later on Friday.
