THE singer and composer Cristina Buarque died this Sunday (20) to 74 years . Throughout the career, which began in the late 1960s, the artist released records that helped write the history of samba and from MPB (Brazilian popular music) .
Born in São Paulo, Maria Cristina Buarque de Holanda was born on December 23, 1950. Sérgio Buarque de Holanda and the pianist Maria Amelia Cesário Alvim had six brothers, including Chico Buarque and the singers Ana de Hollanda and Miucha who died in 2018.
