“White Chicks”: what the actors are like 20 years after the premiere

One of the most beloved comedy films among Brazilians complete 20 years since its debut in 2024: “White Chicks” .

A classic on broadcast TV, the feature film released in 2004 tells the story of two black FBI agents, Marcus (Marlon Wayans) and Kevin Copeland (Shawn Wayans), who are given the punishment of escorting two young socialites under threat of kidnapping to an event in the Hamptons.

However, when sisters Brittany (Maitland Ward) and Tiffany Wilson (Anne Dudek) decide not to go to the event anymore, the agents decide to assume their identities to try to solve the case by posing as them.

Marlon Wayans (Marcus Copeland)

Marlon Wayans starred in several comedy films alongside his brother Shawn Wayans in the mid-2000s, and has pursued his career as an actor and comedian ever since. Most recently, he has appeared in the films “Fifty Shades of Black” and “Naked” and has dedicated himself to stand-up comedy.

Shawn Wayans (Kevin Copeland)

Busy Philipps (Karen Googlestein)

The artist continued to act in successful productions such as “Girls5eva” and the most recent “Mean Girls”, in addition to presenting her own talk show between 2018 and 2019, “Busy Tonight”.

Jennifer Carpenter (Lisa Anderson)

Jennifer Carpenter has been very successful in Hollywood. She is best known for her role in “Dexter”, but she has also appeared in several horror and action films, such as “The Exorcism of Emili Rose”, “Quarantine”, “Rough Justice”, “12 Hours”, among others.

Jessica Cauffiel (Tori)

Cauffiel is also known for her role in the “Legally Blonde” franchise, but the actress stopped appearing in major Hollywood projects after the 2000s. She also appears to have left social media, but her old posts are full of photos with her daughter.

Brittany Daniel (Brittany Vandergeld)

Brittany Daniel, a cast member of several other sitcoms from the 2000s, also appeared in the series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The Game.” She currently shares her routine on social media as a lifestyle and philanthropy influencer.

Jaime King (Heather Vandergeld)

King also participated in several films throughout his career, such as “Sin City”, “Escape Plan”, “Dead Escape” and series such as “A Choice of Heart” and “Black Summer”.
