Demi Lovato has a new face and a new haircut: the bixie. At the UNICEF gala held in New York on November 29, the singer wore a black and white dress and velvet gloves adorned with two diamond rings, perfectly en pendent with the diamonds she sported in her ears, which gave her a touch of old Hollywood glamour.

It is as if Liza Minelli in Cabaret met Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina, but in a bolder version. As one follower who left a comment on Instagram said, she looked like Winona in the ’90s. and we absolutely agree. And the fringe? To quote Ricky Martin, «she bangs».
Compare this cut to last year’s, which was shorter in the front and longer in the back. Yes, Demi was approaching hated and loved mullet territory, which ultimately turned into her own shag cut of hers.
The new cut is the work of hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez.
But a face-framing cut would be nothing without a face to frame, and singer Demi Lovato’s is radiant. The star showed up on Instagram Stories to show her face (almost) without makeup and the comment: “Just a little concealer and super glowing skin thanks to @reneeroleau,” she wrote, tagging the skincare brand she carries the name of its creator a beautician and skin expert. We don’t know if Demi Lovato got a facial straight from the source or if she’s just a fan of Rouleau products, but whatever she’s doing, it’s working.
But for the evening her true star make-up was absolute perfection, glossed lips with a 3D effect contour in a very delicate nude nuance, eyes with a slight black line on the upper eyelid and long eyelashes (perhaps fake or laminated) and intensified with mascara, for a diva look of yesteryear. And to top it all off it was framed by hyper-defined, bushy, dark, graphic brows.
As much as we love this hair evolution, we also wish Demi Lovato would cut it all off so we could once again see her giant spider tattoo on the left side of her then-shaven brim, which she showed off in an IG story last January .
