The domestic Internet provider Dom.ru studied how exactly the number of people spending their leisure time playing computer games changed in 2022 compared to 2021. Among the most popular titles, as expected, were Minecraft (more than 14% of players from the entire provider base), Counter-Strike (about 10%) and Dota 2 (almost 9%). The provider’s customers also play Call of Duty, Destiny 2, Grand Theft Auto, Metro, Need for Speed, Warhammer 40,000, The Witcher, and World of Warcraft.
Interestingly, our compatriots spend most of their time on computer entertainment in January – about 29% of the provider’s clients play this month. Apparently, this is due to the far from the most pleasant weather on the street and quite a long annual holiday weekend. The least amount of time spent playing games is in the summer – only about 25% of consumers. Obviously, in the warm season, many have more interesting ideas for spending time.
