The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the list of nominees for the 2023 Academy Awards on Tuesday.
Among the productions competing for the “Best Film” category are names such as the biopic “Elvis”, the comedy “The Banshees of Inisherin” and the interdimensional adventure “Everything in Every Place at the Same Time”.
The latter leads in number of disputed categories, with 11 nominations in total.
The blockbuster sequels, James Cameron’s “Avatar: Path of Water” and Tom Cruise’s “Top Gun: Maverick,” are also up for “Best Picture.”
