Warning for an orange danger level storm in Cyprus

The Meteorological Service Cyprus warns of danger level storm orange, which came into force from 11 this morning until 18:00 in the afternoon. As the Department of Meteorology typically reports, the individual storms are expected to affect mainly the mountainous, northern areas and the eastern half of the island, while the intensity of the rain is expected to range between 55 and 70 millimeters per hour and possibly hail, reports the Athenian and Macedonian News Agency.

The Civil Defense Force, following a relevant announcement by the Department of Meteorology, proceeded with recommendations to the public, with the aim of prevention and proper preparation to minimize the risks and negative consequences of any heavy rains, before, during, but also after them.
