War in Ukraine: Three dead and 15 injured by a missile attack in Dnipro

At least three people were killed and 15 others were injured by missile attack in Ukrainian city Dnipro yesterday (15/7), the district governor announced, Valentin Reznichenko.

“Rockets hit an industry and a busy street right next door” the governor said via his Facebook page.

“The Russian attack killed three people and injured 15 others. We are examining the extent of the damage”, he added. According to Ukrainian media, a man was burned alive in his car when a projectile hit his vehicle. They also noted that the attacks continue and other explosions were heard in the area in addition to the ones that caused the death of the three people and the injury of 15 others.

“We are getting stronger and they are trying to put pressure on me,” says Zelensky

Meanwhile, in his nightly speech, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyreferred to the attacks that Ukrainian cities receive from Russian forces. “Right now air raid sirens are being heard virtually all over the country”emphasized and noted that in addition to Dnipro, strikes were recorded in Kremenchuk, but also in the wider region of Kyiv.

“The Russian invaders realize that we are gradually becoming stronger and stronger, so their goal is to terrorize us. To put pressure on me and you, on all of us, on our society, to intimidate and cause as much damage as they can in Ukrainian cities. They hit educational institutions and kindergartens, but after the attack in Vinnytsia they will pay for it, they will be held accountable and they will be punished”he argued.

In addition, he revealed that the USA they will help Ukraine to improve its air force and how it will give other military aid. He underlined her efforts The European Union to impose a 7th package of sanctions on Russia.

Right now, as I am writing this address, the air alert is over almost the entire territory of our state. There is preliminary information about strikes – Dnipro, Kremenchuk, Kyiv region. The occupiers realize that we are gradually becoming stronger, and the goal of their terror is very simple – to put pressure on you and me, on our society, to intimidate people, to cause as much damage as possible to Ukrainian cities, while Russian terrorists are still able to do it. So I’m begging you, once again: please don’t ignore the air alert signals now. Appropriate rules of conduct must be followed at all times, especially at public objects. Of course, we will come to the day when Russian terror will become impossible. But it still needs time. We still have to fight. And we will fight.
