Actress Gabriela Duarte managed to leave Israel after sheltering in a bunker during Hamas attacks over the weekend.
She used social media to announce that she is now safe in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
According to the actress’s report, she managed to leave Israeli territory with her two children and her ex-husband at around 2:30 am local time, after hours of trying to catch a flight at Ben Gurion Airport, in Tel Aviv.
Many shipments were being canceled and there was little information about Itamaraty flights to take Brazilians back to Brazil, said Duarte.

On Sunday (8), she reported despair in Tel Aviv on social media and said that she had just arrived in the city when the bombings began, in the early hours of last Saturday (7).
The alarm at the hotel where she and her family were staying sounded and everyone had to run to a bunker, she said.
The actress said she felt safe in the bunker, but there were tense moments, like when a missile fell next to the hotel where she stayed.
Duarte described the situation in Tel Aviv as “very sad”, with establishments closed and only police circulating around the city.
She reported that she had planned the trip with her ex-husband, who is Jewish, years ago, aiming to introduce Israel and Middle Eastern culture to her children.
