Wanted: Chefs, Electricians, Mechanics and Other Professionals (for a Mission in Antarctica)

If you love the cold, snow and ice, there is a job opportunity that could be right for you: Adecco is opening applications to recruit professionals to be employed during the next mission to the south pole organized by PNRA, the National Antarctic Research Program.

Looking for staff cleaning and to the Kitchen, chef And helpers baking experts, carpenters, electricians, mechanics of motor vehicles and operators cars: 19 open positions for those who don’t have too much difficulty tolerating low temperatures.

The contracts provide for an assignment of the maximum duration of 4 months to be carried out during the austral summer season characterised by temperatures ranging approximately between -10 and 3 degrees Celsius whereas, only for the chef/cook role, a 13-month contract is foreseen since he/she will be in charge of the kitchen during the winter season.
