When dancing “samba miudinho”, Wagner Moura explained that this is the most common way of dancing in Salvador, the city where he was born, and that it differs from Rio samba, which has wider movements.
“That’s how we samba in my city, Salvador. In Rio, things are bigger, but in Salvador it's 'tiny'”.
The presenters tried to imitate him, but without being able to samba effectively.
The audience applauded the actor as he danced. On social media, he also received praise from internet users.
The film “Civil War” has been showing in cinemas since April 18th, and Wagner Moura has received praise from international critics for his performance.
