Votre Brasserie is a new hotspot with its French cuisine and elegant atmosphere

The glass facade, the bar right at the entrance with arches in the background, the high ceilings, the decoration with many plants, sofas covered in green leather and a majestic tree on the sidewalk that welcomes diners. Just like that would be enough to be enchanted by the new Votre Brasserie .

in the neighborhood of Vila Madalena close to so many other trendy addresses and the bustling Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, in São Paulo, the house achieved a real feat: to bring calm and welcome amidst the chaos of São Paulo.

The invitation is away from chaos and also away from Brazil. The ticket is to some bistro in Paris. And who can resist a trip through the flavors and charms of France?

Votre in French means yours and this is the main proposal of the house: a brasserie with an intimate essence and a laid-back atmosphere to call your own, where the French daily life pulsates in the very Brazilian heart of Vila Madalena.

Who commands the kitchen is the chef and partner of the house Francisco Farah , who created a menu that starts with small portions to share, such as duck liver pâté, assorted pickles, accompanied by house baguette and toast (R$ 29), as well as rustic bread au gratin with Bem Brasil cheese and caramelized onions. (R$ 39), the delicious shrimp with a slightly spicy sauce, avocado and citrus, served with sesame crunchy (R$ 39); the extra creamy oxtail croquette (R$ 35 with 4 pieces); and the marinated manjubinha and herb sauce with house bread (R$ 25).

As for the generous starters that work very well as main courses, it is clear that the chopped and seasoned filet mignon steak tartare (R$ 69) and the typical Moules au Safran et Frites (R$ 65) are illustrious presences and so typical that we can say that they are the true gateways to the imaginary walk through the narrow Parisian alleys.

On weekends, there are two special items on the menu: the very fresh oysters from Santa Catarina (R$21 for 3 units) and the Provencal prawns with fried rice (R$119).

Among the main ones, the boeufbBourguignon arrives with tagliatelle in butter and very well seasoned, as it should be, the sauce based on red wine, mushrooms, bacon and carrots goes very well with the pasta (R$ 69).

There is also the crispy suckling pig with sautéed apples, chestnut farofa and red wine sauce (R$109); roast duck with orange sauce accompanied by sautéed potatoes (R$ 99); grilled fish of the day with shrimp farofa and crustacean emulsion with saffron (R$ 83); between others.

To finish off the trip, there are four dessert options: apple pie in puff pastry with vanilla ice cream (R$32); the crème brulée with a touch of orange (R$29); the soufflé au chocolat with chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream (R$35); and profiteroles filled with vanilla ice cream and lots of chocolate syrup (R$32).

Lovers of good cocktails were also treated to classic drinks and some signature drinks such as the flor de pear with pear gin, Sicilian lemon, pear puree and elderflower syrup (R$ 36) and the pisco passion with pisco, passion fruit and Tahiti lime (R$36).

Votre Brasserie is the little brother of Your Restaurant Bar which is a few meters from the new house, and also has Francisco Farah and Pedro Grando in charge.
