Two workers working on the renovation of the Pacaembu stadium complex in São Paulo were caught fighting and using pieces of wood to attack each other. The incident reportedly occurred last Saturday (13) and the images were published on social media.
See the video:
In the video, it is possible to see the moment when an employee, near the stadium’s pool, throws a piece of wood towards another worker, who dodges the throw.
Then the man, who is not hit, grabs the same object and hits the head of the colleague who tried to hit him first. The worker falls to the ground and it is not possible to see what happens to him next.
In a statement, the Allegra Pacaembu Concessionaire, responsible for managing the stadium, reported that it was aware of the fight. According to the company, the workers are a third-party labor company, hired by the stadium administration to work on the renovation of the complex.
After being hit on the head, the victim was attended to by an ambulance. According to Allegra, the worker suffered minor injuries. He was later taken to Santa Casa de Misericórdia and, according to the company, he was discharged on the same day. The worker returned to work after three days of sick leave.
The other person involved in the fight was fired by the outsourced company.
