One person died and another was injured after an accident involving an imported car in Belo Horizonte, in the early hours of Monday (11). The vehicle, a Porsche model, rolled over and hit a tree on Avenida Barão Homem de Melo, in the Estoril neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte. According to police, the vehicle’s speedometer was stuck at 250 km/h. See the moment of the accident:
A 32-year-old man, who was in the passenger seat, died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, also 32 years old, was taken for medical attention and will be interviewed by police officers from the Specialized Police Station for Prevention and Investigation of Traffic Crimes after being discharged.
During the accident, the passenger was ejected from the car, as reported by the Fire Department. The road was closed due to the wreckage of the vehicle, but was reopened in the early afternoon.
The Civil Police reported that the driver’s license was expired and a forensic team collected information to investigate the causes of the accident.
