Military police from the 2nd Company of the 6th Military Police Battalion Metropolitan, in São Bernardo, ABC Paulista, saved the life of a newborn on Wednesday afternoon.
Safety cameras images show the moment when the mother came in desperate in the battalion, asking for help. The 5 -day baby was choking and unable to breathe. Watch the video:
The police then conducted first aid maneuvers and managed to clear the child’s airways.
In the video, you can see the moment when the PMs made the baby’s rescue, while the desperate mother was waiting next door.
Then the child was saved and placed on the woman’s lap.
“In a few seconds, the baby’s cry, which once seemed so far away, echoed strongly through the barracks – a sound that will never be forgotten by those who were present,” the military police said in a statement.
