A motorcyclist was arrested after running over and killing a man at dawn on Saturday (26) in Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro. According to police, the driver is 18 years old and drove without qualification.
The Military Police reported that they were patrolling the São Pedro neighborhood at the time when they were called for the occurrence. Upon arriving at Fileuterpe Street, it was found that the motorcyclist had no qualification and ran over a man crossing the street. The victim did not resist the injuries and died. Watch video:
The driver was arrested in the act for the crimes of manslaughter and lack of driving qualification. The case was sent to court. The site was preserved for the expertise and the occurrence recorded at the 110th Civil Police Station of Teresópolis (RJ).
