The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) investigates the Death of businessman Ricardo da Cunha Teixeira 47 years old, shot dead during an attempted robbery This Monday (14), in São João de Meriti, in Baixada Fluminense.
Ricardo, known as “Russian”, owned a car store and was attacked at the door of the establishment itself. Images from security cameras caught the moment he spoke on the phone when he was surprised by an armed robber.
The criminal tried to tear off his cell phone from the businessman’s hands, who reacted. Then the robber fired. Shortly thereafter, a second man arrived by motorcycle and both fled. See below:
In social networks, friends and family paid tribute to Ricardo, lamenting the sudden loss. In mourning, the three stores of which he was a partner announced that they will remain closed for three days.
Police follow steps to investigate the authorship of the crime.
