The cell phone of a passenger caught fire inside a bus in Guarapari (ES), in the metropolitan region of Vitória, on the afternoon of last Tuesday (11). The device was in the pocket of her pants.
The situation was filmed on video by a passenger on the bus. In the images, you can see the vehicle taken by smoke and people screaming in despair. See below:
After the fire began, the driver stopped the bus and the passengers quickly shot the phone on fire out of the vehicle.
According to the bus company, there were no injuries and it was not necessary to trigger the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and the Fire Department. After the incident, the bus continued to travel.
Another case
On Saturday (8) another young woman was injured after the cell phone in her pocket of her pants exploded while she was shopping in Anápolis, in the interior of Goiás.
Safety cameras images caught the moment. The white blouse is in line with the cashier with her husband when her cell phone explodes in her rear pocket. The woman is taken by surprise and staggers forward. She stumbles, drops some items and runs. The husband goes after her to help erase the flames. Look :
