The Vedomosti publication, citing sources close to the co-owners of the Cypriot company Arenum, reported that the company’s investors are demanding that businessman Eduard Gurinovich share the profits from the success of the clicker game Hamster Kombat.

Vedomosti’s sources say that, according to the Cypriot registry, the revenue of the game development company Arenum amounted to 267,000 euros in 2019-2021, while the loss exceeded 1.62 million euros. Gurinovich owns a controlling stake of 60.3% in this company.

The company did not file reports in 2022 and 2023. Investors do not know what the funds raised were spent on. In the summer of 2024, investors contacted Gurinovich to clarify the connection Arenum with the clicker game Hamster Kombat, Vedomosti’s sources said.

According to them, investors received contradictory information from the businessman. He told some that he had nothing to do with Hamster Kombat, while telling others that he was involved with the game, but that it had nothing to do with Arenumas it was created on other resources.

Gurinovich, according to the newspaper’s sources, agreed with investors to return their investments with a small bonus, but they considered such terms of the deal unprofitable, given the success of the clicker game.

According to the head of the legal company Dsight, Arseniy Dabbakh, the investors are right, but they lack evidence, especially since not all of them have formalized an investment agreement.

Earlier, the CEO of the IT holding AD.RU Anton Gorshkov told journalists of the publication Lenta.ru that the team of the token clicker Hamster Kombat refuses to share profits with him.
