Valeria Golino, Elly Schlein and Bebe Vio for Sky Italia’s birthday

Sky Italia turns 20 and celebrates this important birthday with a two-day event at Palazzo Reale in Milan. On 14 and 15 June, one of the most beautiful rooms in the building – Sala delle Cariatidi – will be transformed into a television studio where guests from the world of entertainment, industry and culture will take turns discuss the future of the creative and television industries, looking to the next two decades. The event – also broadcast live on Sky and streamed on the digital channels of SkyTg24 and Sky Sport – will be free and open to the publicupon registration (on SkyTg24.it and SkySport.it), so as to involve spectators in the debate as well.

The guest list, announced in recent days, is important and foresees the participation of ministers Andrea Abodi, of Sport and Youth, Giuseppe Valditara, of Education and Merit, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, of the Environment and Energy Security and Matteo Piantedosiof the Interior, together with other institutional figures such as Giovanni Malagòpresident of Coni, Elly Schlein, secretary of the PD, Silvana Sciarra, president of the Constitutional Court, and the mayor of Milan, Beppe Sala. Obviously, some of the faces made popular by Sky broadcasts cannot be missing, such as the three judges of Masterchef, Bruno Barbieri, Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Giorgio Locatelli; the former protagonist of Beijing Express, Victoria Cabello and her host, Costantino della Gherardesca and the judge of 4 restaurants, Alessandro Borghese.

However, they are not the only guests from the world of entertainment and culture who will speak during those days. There will also be, among others, Nicola Savino, Alessandro Roia, Valeria Golino, Matteo Garrone, Stefano Sollima, Carlo Lucarelli, Marco D’Amore and Giancarlo De Cataldo. The sporting soul of Sky, on the other hand, will come out thanks to the participation of leading names in Italian sport, the former volleyball player Andrea Zorzi, or the Olympic high jump champion, Sara Simeoni, the former rugby player, Diego Dominguez and Paralympic foil athlete, Bebe Vio. Finally, among the prominent international presences, there will be: Mykhailo Savva of the Center for Civil Liberties and 2022 Nobel Peace Prize winner and writer, Don Winslow.
