“This cannot be leaked, it is a state secret, just like my conversation with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin, it took three hours, we talked a lot,” he added.

Bolsonaro holds meeting with ambassadors on ballot security

The president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) scheduled for this Monday (18) a meeting with foreign ambassadors to talk about the 2022 elections in the country. He has questioned the trust of the Brazilian electoral system several times, despite not presenting evidence to support the accusations.

Voters can request voting in transit from this Monday

Those who have not been able to transfer their electoral domicile or will be out of it during the 2022 elections will still be able to vote through transit voting. For this, it is necessary to previously signal the intention to the Electoral Justice. The deadline for the process begins this Monday (18) and runs until August 18.

Voting in transit allows people who are not in the city where they took their voter registration card to still participate in the election.

The modality is valid for only one of the rounds as well as for both voting days. The first round is scheduled for October 2. The second, for October 30th.
