The Civil Police found female clothing at Esteliano José Madureira, 43, pointed out as the main suspect of murdering Bruna Oliveira da Silva, 28, in the neighborhood of Itaquera, in São Paulo. The information was confirmed on the night of Wednesday (23) by the delegate Ivalda Aleixo, director of the Department of Homicides and Protection of Persons (DHPP), which investigates the crime.
The investigation, however, still works with the hypothesis that the clothes are from the accused’s ex-wife or even his daughter, who is already older. “We will experience it, but women’s clothes were found, including underwear,” said Ivalda.
Police are awaiting, at any time, the court ordered the temporary arrest of Esteliano José Madureira. On Thursday, steps are planned and-even-the interrogation of family members of the 43-year-old man.
Remember the case
The body of student Bruna Oliveira da Silva, 28, was found last Thursday (17), in the region of Fatec Itaquera, in the east of São Paulo. The young woman had been last seen on the 13th, when she returned home.
On the day of the disappearance, Bruna was returning from her boyfriend’s house in Butantã, west, and took the subway to her home in Itaquera (east zone). Images of monitoring cameras recorded the moment when the student leaves a bus terminal in the east of São Paulo shortly before disappearing.
