Some taxpayers have reported failures in completing the 2022 Income Tax return. According to reports on the internet, the error occurs at the end of filling, when the user tries to send the completed form.
When clicking the submit button, a message appears that says: “Error. The transmission has not been completed. The CPF declaration XXX.XXX.XXX-XX fiscal year 2022 was not delivered”.
Sought, the IRS informed the CNN Brasil Business that “not an error”, and that the problem is happening specifically to declarants who are using the IR 2022 desktop (desktop) application and who are using an old version of the program.
To resolve this, you need to update. It is also possible to update without losing the information already filled in.
The mobile application (“Meu Imposto de Renda”) has not been updated and the statements being made through it should not have this problem. Declarations made online through the e-CAC portal are also not affected.
“On March 9, we updated the version of the application that is used on computers, replacing the original version (1.0) with version 1.1. This version implemented adjustments to the application’s performance and some specific fixes”, informed the Revenue, in a note. IR 2022 declarations started on March 7.
“It’s not a mistake. It is because the contributor has version 1.0 of the program, when there is already a version 1.1 available. If he updates to version 1.1 and transmits the message, the message will no longer be displayed.
The download of the new version 1.1 of the program must be done through the Federal Revenue website.
In order not to lose the information already filled in, the user must follow the installation instructions. In the process, the program will ask if it wants to preserve the previous data – it must answer yes. If you answer no, everything you had typed will be lost and you will have to start over.
The deadline for submitting the IR 2022 is on April 29. The five refund batches will take place between May 31 and September 30.
Delivery is mandatory for those who had taxable earnings above BRL 28,559.70 in 2021 or exempt and non-taxable income above BRL 40 thousand.
