USA: Republican deputies approve bill that aims federal judges

US republican deputies have approved a bill today to end the authority of federal court judges to issue orders that extend beyond the parts of a case.

The movement is a response from the House Republicans who believe that federal judges are “blockers of President Donald Trump’s agenda.”

The project was approved by 219 votes to 213. Ohio’s Republican representative Mike Turner was the only party member to vote against.

Trump and his ally Elon Musk have publicly pressured Republican legislators to go further and dismiss federal judges that prevent administration, an appeal that several members of the republican’s most radical wing have embraced, presenting impeachment resolutions in the House.

However, the Chamber’s Republican leadership has signaled that they do not have the votes necessary to approve the effort and are looking for other alternatives. This legislation, led by Republican Darrell Issa of California, was one of those alternatives.
