As APE-MPE reminds, the three men were participating in a training exercise in the state of Indiana and were off duty when the attack took place. Local police are investigating the incident. So far no arrests have been made.
According to the ministry, the two other men are hospitalized in a stable condition.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) has not yet commented. A police officer told FOX 59 TV that there appeared to be a confrontation earlier at a different location. “Right now the information we can reveal is that it didn’t happen inside the hotel. It was a previous confrontation, we believe, at another location. It didn’t happen inside the Hampton Inn” the downtown hotel, but “outside it,” he added.
