A shooting incident occurred on Saturday night (local time) in the US, specifically in Alabama. The scene unfolded in a ballroom during a birthday party.
According to Reuters, four people died and at least 20 were injured in the incident.
The shooting in Dadville, about 60 miles northeast of Montgomery, happened around 10:34 p.m. (local time), according to authorities. So far, according to US media, there is no word on what led to the armed attack on the ballroom, nor is it known if any suspects are in custody.
Information even states that there were at least fifty people at the birthday party.
“Violent crime has no place in our state and we are being closely informed by law enforcement as details emerge,” Alabama Governor Kay Ivey said in a statement posted on social media.
