Interweaving visual arts, architecture, design and the city, the Miami-based USA R&R studios presented ‘I LOVE YOU’, a public sculpture and meeting place celebrating friendship and companionship, on the beach in Alexandria, Virginia.
The sculpture he’s got designed as an emotional monument which consists of a pink-hued neon sign and a metal frame that rises to a height of four and a half meters, stepping on a giant carpet with patterns of blooming flowers.
According to R&R studios, the installation is an inspiration for positive action and “avalanche» of personal memories and wishes.
To the sweeping invitations of today’s metropolitan environment he juxtaposes an unexpected, unprecedented, intelligent idea, conveying the message that a better society is available. Together, the sign and carpet define a room open to pass one.

The artwork is the latest in the “New Views in Old Town” series on Alexandria Beach and will remain there until November.
