US jeweler will pay US$ 1,500 for those who record 15 first dates

The jewelry company Shane Co., from the United States, will pay US$ 1,500 for anyone willing to document 15 first dates.

“We know it takes a lot of courage to put your heart on the line and give someone new a chance,” he told Shane Co. in a press release. “On the other hand, it could be the beginning of many beautiful moments to come.”

To participate, candidates must be single and able to find their own dates on dating apps, in supermarkets or anywhere else. Dates don’t necessarily have to be with strangers, but they should be with 15 different people.

For security reasons, Shane Co. suggests that first dates be held in public places with buddy systems and backup plans to prepare for any situation.

The person chosen for the job must be at least 18 years old and willing to document each date by taking a photo and filling out a worksheet detailing the experience.

“If the winner has a unique and promising love story to share and would like to share it publicly, we would love to feature their story on The Loupe, Shane Co.” blog, Johnray Strickland, director of digital marketing for the jewelry store, told CNN.

To apply, interested parties must submit an online application by February 10th. The winner will be announced on February 27th and will have five months to finalize dates.

“Shane Co. is in the love business,” Strickland said. “We love love and are happy to provide a fun way for people to get out and maybe even find their person.”
