There are just a few hours left until the polls close in the United States. The moment is one of apprehension about the first results both for Americans and for the campaigns of Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
The public will be able to follow the investigation in important locations, such as the Empire State Building. On the political side, the teams set up HQs and strategies for the Democrat and Republican to be able to assist the process.
Check the agenda:
Kamala
After campaigning in the state of Pennsylvania, Vice President Kamala Harris will hold her election observation party at Howard University, in Washington DC. The educational institution is historically black, considered by Kamala her starting point in politics.
Kamala says returning to university is “full circle” and a “source of hope”.
Trump
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump will watch the election results with a small group of people including family and friends at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN .
Billionaire Elon Musk, real estate investor and golf buddy Steve Witkoff and the co-chair of the transition team Howard Lutnick are all ready to join the former president, a source told CNN .
Trump’s eldest sons, Don Jr. and Eric, are also expected to attend, along with Eric’s wife, Lara.
Joe Biden
The current president of the United States will watch the count directly from the White House, after a peaceful end to the campaign for him.
Biden has kept a relatively low profile in recent days and is expected to do the same today. He and first lady Jill Biden will watch the election results with longtime aides and senior White House officials.
Biden, who has no public events on his schedule, is expected to receive regular updates as races unfold across the country.
